Soft leather case is lined with certified RFID blocking material to protect personal information contained in credit card and license microchips. There are an estimated 35 million contactless credit cards now in circulation. Data can be read from microchipped cards and licenses by electronic pickpockets using portable scanners from several feet. All Smooth Trip RFID products contain the same certified lining material to effectively block electronic transmissions.
